Hello Everyone,Welcome to my new blog. This blog deals with marriage and raising a family when one spouse is having to be on the go due to their job. I understand that in this economy that families have to do what they have to do to survive. I know this all too well, because my husband just made a career change to an OTR (Over the Road) truck driver. It has not been easy on him, me, or our kids being separated. However thanks to modern day technology we are surviving. I really think we can become the new spokes family for Skype.
When I originally thought about start this blog, I was going to do it specifically for OTR wives and families, but as I begin to think more about it I realized there were a lot of jobs out there that keep families separated for periods at time. Hey I live in a military town, so I see a lot of family separations every day. So my goal is to use this blog for myself and others as a sort of support group, if you or your spouse is having to be separated for any type of job.
